Join Us for Maharudram & Śatacaṇḍī Mahāyajñam in the Bay Area - May 29 -30, 2026!

॥ श्री गुरुभ्यो नमः । श्री मात्रे नमः ॥

With great devotion and gratitude, Bhāskara Prakāsha Āshram invites all devotees, families, and seekers to participate in the sacred Maharudram & Śatacaṇḍī Mahāyajñam being offered in the Bay Area at the end of this month.

This divine undertaking brings together the powerful Vedic vibrations of Śrī Rudram and the profound Śākta worship of Śrī Durgā Saptaśatī / Caṇḍī Pārāyaṇam and Homam. Through Rudra Japa, Mahānyāsa, Caṇḍī Pārāyaṇam, Homam, Pūjā, and Mahā Pūrṇāhuti, this yajña becomes a collective prayer for loka-kṣema — the welfare, peace, protection, and spiritual upliftment of all.

In a time when the world deeply needs harmony, strength, and divine grace, such collective worship becomes especially meaningful. Every mantra chanted, every offering made, and every devotee present contributes to a sacred current of blessing for families, communities, and the world at large.

We warmly invite you to attend, participate, volunteer, and receive the blessings of Śiva–Śakti through this rare and auspicious event. Devotees willing to participate in person are requested to register using the button below or QR code provided in the flyer.

Ati Rudram and Shata Chaņdi Mahāyajñam - July 01-05, 2026 in Chicago, IL

॥ श्री गुरुभ्यो नमः । श्री मात्रे नमः ॥

On the supremely auspicious Māgha Pūrṇimā, revered and popularly celebrated as Thai Pūṣam, our Guru, Śrī Śrī Vimarśānanda Nāthendra Saraswatī Swāmigal, embraced Sannyāsa in the year 1982. This sacred tithi marks not merely His Sannyāsa Sweekāra Dinam, but also His Dīkṣā Dinam—the blessed occasion on which He was formally initiated into the luminous and profound path of Śrīvidyā Upāsanā.

On this holy day, the sacred transmission of mantra and śāstra was bestowed upon Him by His revered father and Guru, Śrī Śrī Śivaswāmy Dīkṣitar, also known in the Śrīvidyā lineage as Śrī Śrī Prakāśānanda Nātha. Thus, Māgha Pūrṇimā stands enshrined in our paramparā as a day of Guru-kṛpā, Śakti-anugraha, and the unbroken flow of Śrīvidyā lineage, wherein renunciation and revelation converged for the spiritual upliftment of countless seekers.

His life’s renunciation (Sannyāsa) was not merely the external acceptance of ascetic vows, but the natural flowering of His Śrīvidyā Sādhana—expressed and imparted through śāstra, mantra, and deep contemplation, and now carried forth by His disciples and devoted upāsakas across the world. On this sacred anniversary, we bow in reverence to His teachings and humbly invite all devotees to rededicate themselves to a life of śāstra-aligned devotion, discipline, and selfless service.

It is with this spirit of gratitude and surrender that we humbly dedicate the announcement of the Atirudra Mahāyajñam to be conducted this summer in Chicago, IL, at the holy lotus feet of our Guru, seeking His blessings for the successful completion of this Mahāyajña and for the welfare of all beings.

With immense joy and deep reverence, Bhāskara Prakāśa Ashram is blessed to announce the Atirudra Mahāyajñam along with Shata Chandi yajñam, to be conducted from Wednesday, July 1 through Sunday, July 5, 2026, at the Sant Nirankari Bhavan, Warrenville, Illinois.

This rare and powerful Vedic observance is being organized for Global Peace, Prosperity, and Spiritual Upliftment—an offering of collective sādhana at the sacred feet of Śrī Sadāśiva and Śrī Chandikā Mahālakshmi.

The Atirudra Mahāyajñam is among the most exalted Vedic rituals, invoking Śrī Rudra in His full cosmic magnificence. When performed with precision, devotion, and sankalpa, it is said to:

  • Dissolve deep-seated karmic obstacles.

  • Bestow peace, health, and prosperity

  • Purify the environment and uplift collective consciousness

  • Shower grace upon families, communities, and nations

Such an opportunity to witness and participate in this sacred yajña is rare in this part of the world and profoundly transformative.

Under the guidance of the Gurumandala and with the participation of dedicated devotees, the Ashram disciples will resonate with Vedic mantras, Śrīvidyā upāsanā, and sacred homas, including:

  • Guru Pūjā, Go (Cow) Pūjā & Gaṇapati Mūla Mantra Homa

  • 14,641 Rudra Japa & 1,331 Rudra Homa

  • Rudra Archana & Bilva Archana

  • 100 Chandi Parayanam & 10 Caṇḍī Homa (Samputita)

  • Sri Chakra Navāvaraṇa Pūjā

  • Śrī Lalitā Sahasranāma & Trīśatī Pārāyaṇa

  • Aruna Praśna

  • Vasordhārā & Pūrnāhuti

Each day has been meticulously planned to allow devotees to immerse themselves in sādhana, whether for a single session or throughout the entire yajña.

We lovingly invite all śiṣyas, devotees, well-wishers, and seekers to be part of this once-in-a-lifetime spiritual confluence. Your presence—whether as a participant, volunteer, sponsor, or silent witness—adds immense strength to the collective sankalpa.
