With the blessings of our Guru Maṇḍala, and Śrī Sītārāmānjaneyā, we are delighted to announce that we will be performing the first ever Śrī Vidyā Seminary retreat in concert with a full slate of Yajnās propitiating the deities of Śrīmad Rāmāyaṇa.
The 3 day event will take place at Mount Madonna center in the beautiful Santa Cruz mountains within the precinct of the Sankat Mochan Hanumān temple.
The event begins on Friday June 7th at 3 PM with Sri chakra Puja followed by Lalitha Sahasranama. Saturday, June 8th will feature a detailed exposition of the Bhāvanopanishad; the most important treatise on the internal worship of the Divine Mother. A group of leading Bay Area musicians will present “Prasīda Prasīda Prabho Rāmacandra,” a musical anthology featuring the classical Carnātic sanskrit compositions of Sri Muddusvāmi Dikshitar and Ādi Sankarā's masterpiece the Rāma Bhujanga prayāta stotrā at the end of the seminar.
The events will conclude on Sunday June 9th with a Yajnā propitiating the deities of the Rāmāyaṇa along with a full Ekādaśa Rudra Yajnā to propitiate Lord śivā.
Advance registration is required to attend the 3 day event. Registrants will receive parking passes for all the three days. They will have the option of staying on the hill at the Mt. Madonna center for which separate registration is required (Link is given in the Register button below).
